At CharityTT, we believe that every child deserves to begin the school year with confidence, dignity, and hope. Unfortunately, for many families across Trinidad and Tobago, the rising cost of school supplies makes that difficult.

Start Strong is CharityTT’s annual back-to-school campaign dedicated to ensuring that children have the tools they need to succeed, not only through essential school supplies, but through encouragement, compassion, and community support.

What began as a small initiative has grown into a movement driven by one simple belief:

Everyone deserves a strong start.

Last year, with the generosity of our supporters, we assisted 75 primary school students. This year, our goal is to help 150 children begin the new academic year equipped and encouraged for the journey ahead.

Leave More Than a Donation…

Leave a Message of Hope.

One of the most meaningful parts of Start Strong is our Message of Hope Initiative.

Every sponsor is invited to write a handwritten message of encouragement that will be placed inside the school bag of the child they are supporting.

A simple note saying:

“Believe in yourself.”

“Dream big.”

“Never give up.”

may become something a child remembers long after the school supplies have been used.

Because sometimes…

Hope begins with a few kind words.
